Our Deputy CEO, Marlon Weinstabl, recently made an unannounced Senior Management Visit to the Atlantis Armona. This visit holds a special significance as the Atlantis Armona is the oldest vessel in our fleet.
However, Mr. Weinstabl's first Senior Management Visit actually took place in 2017. During that visit, he met with the crew of the Atlantis Armona, which was berthed at 12:30 GMT at Ponte 22 at the Chemical Terminal of Aveiro in Portugal. Over the course of 6 hours, Mr. Weinstabl had the chance to tour the entire vessel and discuss various topics with the crew. These included updates to company policies, the latest Health Campaign promoting healthy diets, Shell's Resilience Modules, and Leadership Fundamentals Initiatives (LFIs) such as "Chronic Unease" and "Mind Games." Additionally, they exchanged information on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Best Practices, Near-Misses, and new vessels joining the fleet. Crew members' remarks and suggestions for improvement were also welcomed and noted.
These visits are among the most inspiring events in the daily life of our top management. Discussions with crew members always reveal new aspects and strengthen our belief that we are on the right track in creating the safest working environment for everyone, in our shared journey.
