With over 25 years of experience in maritime operations, ship machinery management, and technical supervision, Mr. Kalkavan brings deep expertise in machinery operations, fault diagnostics, maintenance planning, and operational optimization. His distinguished career includes senior positions at Akar Denizcilik, Densay Denizcilik, Karadeniz Enerji, and Beşiktaş Denizcilik, as well as co-founding and managing Barracudas Tech, where he led strategic development and technical projects.
Mr. Kalkavan is a graduate of the Turkish Maritime Education Foundation in Ship Machinery Management and holds numerous professional certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 19011 Internal Audit. Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish, he combines technical depth with leadership and innovation, aligning seamlessly with Armona Denizcilik's vision for sustainable growth and operational excellence.
