Armona served as the primary contractor, overseeing steel construction and full build projects in collaboration with Turkish shipyards. Its responsibilities spanned logistics, procurement, classification compliance, design optimization, quality assurance, and project mobilization. This hands-on role during the construction phase endowed Armona with unparalleled technical insight into vessel design and maintenance—a critical advantage when expanding into Technical Management services. Today, this deep institutional knowledge enables Atlantis Tankers to optimize vessel lifecycle performance, reduce operational costs, and maintain fleet reliability.
Investment Management
The Investment Management division at Atlantis Tankers strategically oversees asset dispositions, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and long-term fleet objectives. The team manages the full spectrum of investment activities, including the establishment and administration of new corporate entities, coordination with resident agents, financial oversight (bank accounts, accounting, and payments), and supervision of technical and commercial operators. Additionally, the division leads procurement efforts for real estate acquisitions, newbuilding projects, and second-hand vessel purchases.
