Atlantis Tankers has successfully completed the takeover of MT KOUROS, which will be renamed MT ATLANTIS ARTEMIDA. The delivery confirms the vessel's entry into the Atlantis Tankers fleet following the completion of the required handover process.
This takeover represents Vessel 1 of 3 Medium-Range Tankers acquired under Atlantis Tankers' fleet expansion program and marks the company's entry into the MR2 tanker segment. The addition of MT ATLANTIS ARTEMIDA reflects a structured approach to fleet growth, aligned with the company's operational strategy and long-term planning.
Following delivery, MT ATLANTIS ARTEMIDA will proceed through the necessary integration steps under Atlantis Tankers' management framework via in-house manager Armona Denizcilik AS These include alignment with internal operational procedures, safety and technical requirements, and crewing arrangements in line with company standards. The remaining MR2 tankers acquired under the same program will be delivered in due course as part of the planned expansion.
