We are proud to share that on July 10, 2024, Atlantis Antibes, operated by Armona Denizcilik, successfully carried out a search and rescue mission in the Mediterranean Sea. This operation was conducted in collaboration with MRCC Almeria while our vessel was en route to Barcelona.
Upon receiving the distress call from MRCC Almeria, our crew immediately changed course and slowed down to assist an immigrant boat in distress. Atlantis Antibes reached the specified location and remained on standby until the arrival of the MRCC Almeria SAR team. Thanks to the coordinated efforts, all individuals on the distressed boat were safely rescued, and our vessel resumed its journey to Barcelona.
Throughout the operation, our team maintained the highest standards of safety and efficiency. We are honored to have received a letter of gratitude from the Spanish Maritime and Safety Agency, acknowledging the vital assistance provided by our master and crew.
