The launching of the 5800 dwt Chemical tanker Atlantis Augusta, built by Selay Shipyard, has been delayed due to weather conditions in Istanbul. The tanker is expected to launch within 2 weeks.
All ballast tanks and cargo tanks were coated with Marine Line's two-component epoxy coating. The main deck, forecastle, and hull (except for the antifouling paint) were painted with zinc rich epoxy and then epoxy universal primer. The Boottop and Sidebottom areas have been cleaned and primed with universal epoxy. The plan is to take the Augusta on a sea trial on about February 5th, 2017. As of today, the investment completion level is at 96%.
