Exxon Mobil affiliate IMT hosted its 3rd Operator Forum in London, guided by the participants' collective commitment to a "Zero Incident Trajectory." Lorenz Weinstabl (CEO) and Capt. Serdal Sağir (HSEQ Manager) from Armona Denizcilik attended the meeting.
The agenda included a range of important topics, such as IMT's SMARTQA vetting tool, the Vessel Performance Index, changes to the MESQAC (Marine Environmental, Safety and Quality Assurance Criteria), and the 3rd Edition of the TMSA. Discussions also covered security (piracy and terrorism), cyber security, and the root cause of many incidents: human factors.
Among the third-party speakers, Michael Fostiropoulis from Almi Tankers delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled "What Kind of Context Do We Need to Bring Out the 'Best People' or in Order to Take Responsibility?" His presentation emphasized the importance of engagement, motivation, and leadership in striving towards collective goals.
