On 18 November 2025 , Armona Denizcilik held its Company Seminar at the Diamond Hotel Manila , bringing together Filipino seafarers and partner crewing agencies for a full day of learning, collaboration, and engagement.
Armona was represented by Gökhan Pehlivan (Fleet Manager & DPA), Mustafa Eşkiler (Marine & HSEQ Superintendent), and Patricia Araza (HSEQ & Training Assistant), who led the sessions and facilitated open discussions throughout the program.
The seminar opened with a technical presentation by Mustafa Eşkiler , who reviewed recent maritime incidents, shared root cause analyses, and highlighted preventive strategies aligned with international safety standards. His session reinforced the importance of learning from industry trends to strengthen safe operations across the fleet.
This was followed by an impactful discussion led by Gökhan Pehlivan , focusing on major maritime events that have shaped the industry and the crucial human factors behind them. His message emphasized the collective purpose shared by all seafarers and the responsibility each crew member carries in maintaining a safe working environment.
Concluding the program, Patricia Araza delivered an engaging session on wellness and self-care, underscoring the role of well-being in operational safety. She also introduced participants to key aspects of Turkish culture to help enhance communication, mutual respect, and teamwork onboard Armona vessels.
