Our Atlantis Araceli started 2021 strong! The 12-year-old vessel arrived at Tuzla from Gisan Shipyard on December 12th, 2020, and departed on January 27th, 2021, after a highly successful and comprehensive intermediate survey.
The survey involved extensive work, including cargo tank spot repairs, full cargo tank repairs following MarineLINE 784 standards, application of a new JOTUN SeaQuantum Pro U antifouling system for the hull (offering 24 months of protection), and major overhauls of the main engine, auxiliary engine, nitrogen system, and other key components. All class requirements were not only met but exceeded.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all stakeholders at the shipyard who worked tirelessly (especially during these challenging times) to ensure our vessel returns to top performance.
Currently, the Araceli is on its way to Varna, Bulgaria, to load its first cargo.
The Araceli is the first of several vessels scheduled for intermediate surveys in 2021. Its sister vessel, the Atlantis Arki, will arrive in Tuzla this spring, followed by the Armona and Antalya in the fall. The Armona and Antalya will also receive ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) installations within this year.
