We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the 14th Company Run Seminar held on December 1st and 2nd. The seminar welcomed 75 ship personnel and 20 office personnel.
We extend our gratitude to MTR, Nozzle, Marine Mental Management, and İlker Kaldı consultancy firms. Their presentations added significant value to the seminar. We also thank all our staff who participated by dedicating their time and contributing insightful questions and comments throughout the event.
Mr. Lorenz Weinstabl's opening speech on day one set the tone for the two-day event. He discussed management's perspective, highlighted key milestones achieved in 2021, and outlined our targets for 2022.
Following that, the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) presented on "Blame Culture" and led a session titled "How You Respond Matters." He also introduced the Wellbeing Implementation Plan. The afternoon session featured Mr. Enes Demirci, CEO of Nozzle, our PMS provider, who shared details about the system's innovations implemented in 2021.
The first day concluded with a thought-provoking session on maritime psychology presented by Marine Mental Management. This topic aligns with our company's focus on mental health and wellbeing, established even before the pandemic.
The second day commenced with a one-hour internal session between crew and office staff. This was followed by a captivating 3-hour training titled "How the Turkish Mind Works," facilitated by Mr. İlker Kaldı. In the afternoon, Mr. Özgür Alemdağ, CEO of MTR, introduced our new training platform. He highlighted its advantages and explained company goals to the participants.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session open to all personnel. This provided an opportunity for the Purchasing and Commercial Department to deliver reminders and inform seafarers of important changes. Finally, DPA Capt. Gökhan Pehlivan delivered the closing speech, reflecting on 2021 and outlining the roadmap for 2022.
We sincerely thank everyone involved for making this a successful seminar. We look forward to the next one!
