Doehle (IoM) is one of the largest ship management companies in the Isle of Man belonging to Peter Doehle in Hamburg. Doehle (IoM) and its subsidiaries operate from their Fort Anne offices overlooking Douglas Bay, providing Atlantis Tankers with corporate services such as offices, representative personnel, company formation and administration services. Doehle Services (Malta) Limited is an extension of the Döhle Group to provide similar services from Malta.

Isle of Man and Maltese Maritime Legislation requires that the owners of vessels registered on their Ship Register and sailing their flags must either be resident or have an appointed Representative Person, providing a genuine link between the vessel and its country of registry.

Döhle (IoM) and Döhle Services (Malta) are approved Representatives, which:

• Act on behalf of the ship owner to register or de-register their vessel.
• Process seafarer’s documentation (including STCW endorsements).
• Liaise with the Ship Registry on problems /issues /technical matters.
• Forward documents between the Ship Registry and owner/manager of the vessel
• Arrange payment of Ship Registry fees on behalf of the owner.
• Provide advice regarding the Isle of Man or Maltese flag legislation and requirements.
