Flashback to February 2022 Armona Denizcilik’s CTO Mr. Marlon Weinstabl was selected to represent all Turkish Shipowners in Shell’s Maritime Partners in Safety Program. More specifically, he is a Focus Group Member of Shell's Rotterdam Group. Other Focus Group members include Odjfell, BW/Hafnia, Wisby Tankers and Synergy Marine Group. This is not only a huge honor but also an opportunity to be able to get involved on a larger scale in the development of higher HSEQ standards and new initiatives within the Marine Chemical Tanker sector.
Flashforward to 1 November 2022, where the regional Shell Maritime Partners in Safety Workshop was held in Istanbul Turkey. Mr. Weinstabl and Armona Denizcilik were the host of this workshop.
The workshop kicked off with a great opening speech by Mr. Marlon Weinstabl. Shell delivered an exciting presentation on the “PNiS Journey so far”, with Mr. Henne Hennis, Capt. Ayhan Dukel & Capt. Doğan Yiğit on the microphones. Mrs. Melisa Ozen from Kaman Denizcilik followed with her thought-provoking presentation on “Context Drives Behaviour”. Next up Capt. Onur Lüleci presented his critical presentation on “How You Respond to Failure Matters”. For last presentation of the day, “Failing Safely v.s. Failing Lucky” delivered by the dynamic duo Mr. Marlon Weinstabl & Mr. Sean Fourie from Armona Denizcilik got the discussions going and brought the presentations to an end. The workshop was closed with a celebration cake for the 10th year anniversary of Maritime Partners in Safety and a group photograph of all presenters and attendees.”

Flashback to February 2022 Armona Denizcilik’s CTO Mr. Marlon Weinstabl was selected to represent all Turkish Shipowners in Shell’s Maritime Partners in Safety Program. “The Caribbean is a relatively small trading industry, and the supply of basic energy demands in the vastly spread islands has no similarity to the trade patterns our vessels are exposed to in the European Continent.
Waiting times in the Dutch Antilles replace frozen food with fresh fish from the sea, i.e. whenever the cook raises his hand for the evening platter, motivated seafarers spend their leisure/rest hours fishing from the vessel.
A big shout-out to our crew of Atlantis Armona, who may rest assured that this is not seen with a portion of jealousy when it comes to the opportunities in the Caribbean Sea to catch fish. Enjoy the lovely seafood prepared by our Master Chef Ercan Beyret!”

“Armona Denizcilik recently held its 15th Company Run Seminar, opened by the CEO Mr. Lorenz Weinstabl where he highlighted the global situation, effect on financial areas by COVID from 2019 and current situation, changes and expected challenges we may face in the coming year.
Mr. Lorenz shared the exiting news about the Company’s new office construction starting and the completion of moving all stocks to our new warehouse.
Further faces lit up as he shared the news of new ship building projects planned.
This great open was followed by many fantastic inhouse presentations and external speakers delivering fantastic information contributing to our Company’s HSEQ Culture development.
In attendance were 73 of Armona Denizcilik’s crew members consisting of senior officers, junior officers and ratings and the office staff.”

As part of Armona’s commitment to the Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and especially in regards to our commitment to Seafarers' Wellbeing, we ensure to do regular Senior Leadership visits to our fleet vessels.
These visits are focused on the verification of the constant improvement of our HSEQ management systems and the implementation thereof. It also provides Armona Senior Management with the opportunity to directly do inspections, training, coaching and listen to our Seafarers' challenges.
Thus, after Capt. Gökhan Pehlivan concluded his visit of our vessel Atlantis Antibes, both Ship and Shore personnel gathered for a fantastic dinner and warm conversations. Strengthening the brotherhood of Armona Denizcilik. We are not just colleges, we are family.

As part of Armona’s commitment to the Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and especially in regards to our commitment to Seafarers' Wellbeing, we ensure to do regular Senior Leadership visits to our fleet vessels.

The Atlantis Summer Party 2022 was hosted on the 24th of June 2022 on our office roof-top terrace, with a spectacular 180 degrees view on the Bosphorus.
It has been 4 years since our last gathering as the Global Pandemic created a stand-still to travels. For many participants it was their first trip abroad since 2 years! We were thrilled to finally host our clients again, stakeholders and guests.
It was the third Commercial Party in our company’s history and we were happy to see our Brokers, Operators, Bunker Suppliers, Traders, Lawyers, and Shipowners from countries all over Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
We served our traditional Cig Kofte starters with Döner Kebap meat options as mains, paired with delicious cocktails and drinks. With over 70 guests throughout the day, it will be an event to be remembered.
Thank you to all those who came. See you in 2024!

The Atlantis Summer Party 2022 was hosted on the 24th of June 2022 on our office roof-top terrace, with a spectacular 180 degrees view on the Bosphorus.
